"Essentials基礎版"作為GE Digital SCADA系統的免費配套版本，雖然功能相對有限，但足以滿足中小型SCADA系統對歷史數據存儲的基本需求。
Essentials版本作為內置歷史數據庫，隨部分iFIX和CIMPLICITY許可證捆綁提供，不可單獨授權或銷售。若Essentials版本用戶需要使用Standard或Enterprise版本的功能，或需支持超過1000個標簽量，則必須購買對應標簽容量的Standard或Enterprise許可證。
